Brigadier General Andrew Priddy

In May 2024, Brigadier General Drew Priddy assumed duties as Chief of Staff for Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO (STRIKFORNATO).

With a distinguished career spanning nearly three decades, Brigadier General Priddy brings a wealth of operational and leadership experience to his new role.

Prior to this appointment, Brigadier General Priddy served as Commanding General of the 2d Marine Expeditionary Brigade and Deputy Commanding General of II Marine Expeditionary Force. His career includes central roles in various Marine units, significant deployment experience across multiple Marine Expeditionary Units, and tours in the Middle East and Europe. Notable staff assignments include Military Assistant to the Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps, Senior Aide to the Commandant of the Marine Corps, and key roles at U.S. Special Operations Command and Marine Barracks Washington D.C.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a B.S. in Ocean Engineering, his military education includes studies at the Amphibious Warfare School, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, Joint Force Staff College, and U.S. Naval War College. He also served as the Commandant’s Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Brigadier General Priddy's extensive experience and seasoned leadership will be instrumental in advancing STRIKFORNATO's mission of integrating the most formidable maritime strike forces into Allied operations.
