STRIKFORNATO on the NATO Virtual Speaker Programme

A NATO Virtual Speaker Program Conference was held on 15 June 2016 at the Portuguese Naval Academy in Almada, Portugal. This event comprised a videoconference by Prof. Lawrence R. Chalmer, Director of the NATO Staff Officer Orientation Course and professor of International Relations at the U.S. National Defense University in Washington, D.C., and a presentation by Captain António Palma, Portuguese Navy, STRIKFORNATO Deputy Chief of Staff for Support. The audience, in its majority composed of Cadets from the Portuguese Naval Academy’s 4th year, had the opportunity of becoming more acquainted with NATO, and especially with STRIKFORNATO’s roles, capabilities, and its overall contribution to the Alliance.
