New STRIKFORNATO Commander visits Oeiras Headquarters

Oeiras, 30th January 2017 - STRIKFORNATO welcomed our new commander, Vice Admiral Christopher Grady, at our headquarters in Oeiras.

A very productive week at SFN headquarters was highlighted by welcoming our new Commander. VADM Grady, also the Commander of the US Sixth Fleet, is stationed in Naples, Italy. Although SFN coordinates with Sixth Fleet daily, his trip to Oeiras this week allowed him to personally engage with the SFN staff, as well as the new Portuguese Fleet Commander. This was just the first of several, routine visits, and with the challenging work ahead for SFN this year, this was a great way to start 2017.
