In compliance with local COVID-19 mitigation actions, an outdoor farewell ceremony led by Rear Admiral Guy Robinson, STRIKFORNATO's Deputy Commander, took place at STRIKFORNATO headquarters on Friday the 29th of May to recognize and honour the service of Brigadier General Bohm.
During his time at STRIKFORNATO, Brigadier General Bohm directed the 13 nation staff to produce high quality results and instilled a warfighting and rapid response mentality and ethos, highlighted by the achievement of STRIKFORNATO obtaining the first ever NATO Expanded Task Force Certification during Exercise TRIDENT JUPITER 19. In his first year, the staff deployed a fully integrated and multinational force Crisis Response Command aboard the USS MOUNT WHITNEY as the Maritime Component Commander during Exercise TRIDENT JUNCTURE 18, the Alliance's largest live exercise since the Cold War. Ultimately STRIKFORNATO commanded over 15,000 NATO personnel including the USS HARRY S. TRUMAN nuclear aircraft carrier and an entire US Marine Corps Expeditionary Brigade in addition to other NATO nation forces, demonstrating the Alliance's will and capability to face any threat, in any climate.
STRIKFORNATO deeply thanks Brigadier General Bohm for his exceptionally superior service, dedication, leadership and contribution to our mission. Semper Fi.
