LISBON, PORTUGAL - Vice Admiral Gene Black, Commander, Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO (STRIKFORNATO) and Commander, U.S. Sixth Fleet was welcomed by Admiral Mendes Calado, Chief of the Portuguese Naval Staff, to the Portuguese Navy Headquarters, located in Lisbon, Portugal, on Feb. 19, 2021. 

The aim of the visit was to discuss the future relationship, engagement and partnership between the U.S. Navy and the Portuguese Navy.
