STRIKFORNATO's Deputy Commander, Rear Admiral James Morley, and Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Marcus Annibale, opened the SPRC meeting with welcome remarks and a personal gratitude to all the MOU Nations for their continued support to STRIKFORNATO and the NATO Alliance.
The meeting included a detailed briefing and discussion about the structure, organization, financing, administration, and manning of STRIKFORNATO. It also highlighted STRIKFORNATO's collective and collaborative accomplishments in 2021 and the demanding and challenging 2022 exercise schedule ahead.
STRIKFORNATO is a MOU organization of thirteen member nations, with the United States as the Lead Nation. The MOU is among Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom and the United States. Organized using a J-Code structure, each MOU nation contributes staff personnel with the requisite expertise to support the planning and execution of STRIKFORNATO operations.
