Joint Warfare Centre staff visit STRIKFORNATO

OEIRAS, Portugal - On 17 October 2019, Rear Admiral James Kirk USN, the Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the NATO Joint Warfare Centre, visited STRIKFORNATO in order to better understand the Headquarters’ mission, roles and challenges.

The visit also included a briefing and discussion on STRIKFORNATO’s role and outputs during the upcoming Exercise TRIDENT JUPITER 2019.

After the briefing, Rear Admiral Kirk had the opportunity to tour the headquarters’ facilities.

The Joint Warfare Centre is the Premier Training Establishment of the #NATO Alliance providing the best training support possible for the collective training and certification of NATO's joint operational and component level Headquarters.
